Siega Verde

Welcome to the Siega Verde Archaeological Zone

In this magnificent landscape, on the sale rocks, located next to the Águeda river, one of the largest open-air cave art galleries in Europe opens up.
Here, artists from the Upper Paleolithic and the Finiglaciar era left their traces forever immortalized in the form of animals and abstract signs, thus expressing the strength and perenniality of art.
These representations made over a long period of time have lasted until today for about 20,000 years.
